BREADWINNER’S DAYDREAM!
Special moments come in little sizes and big sizes. They are hilarious. They’re touching. You can work very hard planning them, or they can take you totally by surprise. Sharing one of my special moments to others is a gift, only that I can give.
To me, my life was seemed extraordinary; not usual perhaps as lives go but satisfactory to my needs. Yet I know that there are many people, including some of my best friends, who consider it odd and even a little exotic. So, it occurred to me that it would be amusing to weld together these very personal stories of mine.
I, 33 years old, a new member of ANTONIO’S INVESTMENT CONSULTANCY. I finished A 2-Year HOTEL AND RESTAURANT SERVICES (under TESDA) and finished my TERTIARY DEGREE in HOTEL AND RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT and graduated as MAGNA CUM LAUDE at DATA CENTER COLLEGE OF THE PHILIPPINES LAOAG CITY INC; and earned several National Certificates Level II under the Tourism Sector namely: Bread and Pastry Production, Housekeeping, Commercial Cooking, Food and Beverage Services and Domestic Work. I had also undergone my International Exchange Student / Internship program at UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, Orlando Florida, U.S.A. This journey of mine really explains the quotation “an open window can make difference in someone’s life even the main door tends to be locked in”. All of this is surprisingly unexpected. As a dreamer, I dreamed to become a teacher. I have not earned any degree related to become a teacher, nor even earned a licensed for professional teacher as well but by the grace of the angels, I was able to impart such and was a member of Skills and Education System. I’ve come to love my academic entity in the sense that, it totally developed my Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes; it certainly provides me self-fulfillment and flavorful experiences. I was trained and greatly supervised by my mentors and became the Program Coordinator / Head of our department for almost 12 years already. I’ve undergone series of trainings, seminars, skills enhancement programs and other activities related to my field.
My life is very fast and busy. I barely have time to relax. I have many important people in my life that helped shape me into the person I am today. I have my family, my friends, and even other people who have influenced me and they do not even know it. There are also special events that have happened throughout my lifetime that shaped me by the outcome. I am very introverted. I am somewhat quiet, and I am very reserved with my personal life. I have a high level of neuroticism. I am quick to react emotionally to situations that make me happy or upset. The one thing I lack is openness to experience. I have done better, but I still tend to stick to my comfort zone. Although I lack openness, I have a very high level of conscientiousness. I am quite organized. I also am very dependable. All in all, I am a very kind, helpful, and patient person so I am very high in agreeableness. These characteristics help me to say that I have a good amount of emotional prose and attributions.
Of course, I understand that life is not just a bed of roses, and challenges and hardships are an integral element of life. Equally important is the support of people around you. Being determined to succeed does not mean alienating everyone and stepping on other people to achieve your goal. On the contrary, success is about recognizing your weaknesses and accepting support from people who genuinely want to help you. So, I started to jump up and look above the summit whom I am starting to target this time. Working in a new vibe of environment is quite challenging and exciting at the same time.
Since I was called up to be a member of ANTONIO’S, every day was totally an amazing aspect that adds up in savoring a new chunk of meat for me to delightfully enjoy. (Sorry to use more culinary terms!). I had been bewildered at some point but, yet I have the courage to step up and will lifting my foot dancing and jiving to a new rhythm of lifelong learnings and delightful endeavors.
I am certain that ANTONIO’S INVESTMENT CONSULTANCY will be a haven to my stepping up journey. I am excited to feel new vibes and learnings in the field of business, triumphs, and more successes brought by life. Let’s all together fly high and will conquer greater peaks and summits of life. This is SUPER DEE… and will fly very soon.!!!!!!
